Tires are the only part of your vehicle that actually touches the road. The right tires — properly mounted, balanced, and aligned — make the difference between a vehicle that handles confidently in Sonoma County's wet winter corners and one that doesn't. At Hahn Automotive in Santa Rosa, our ASE-certified technicians handle every part of tire service: mounting, road-force balancing, rotation, TPMS programming, and flat repair.
We service tires on every vehicle we work on — from daily commuters and Sonoma County fleet trucks to the Teslas, hybrids, and EVs we specialize in. Electric vehicles wear tires differently than gas cars: instant torque and battery weight chew through soft compounds quickly, and Tesla owners in particular need rotations on a tighter schedule than the rest of the fleet. We know the difference, and we plan tire service around it.
Unlike national tire chains with monthly sales quotas, we don't push tires you don't need. We measure tread depth, inspect sidewalls and date codes, and tell you honestly how many miles you have left. When you do need new tires, we mount and balance them properly the first time — and we follow up with an alignment check so the new rubber doesn't get destroyed by an out-of-spec front end.
Signs You Need Tire Service
Tire Services We Offer
New Tire Installation
Mount and balance new tires for any make or model. We source quality brands and match the load index, speed rating, and EV rating your vehicle calls for.
Tire Rotation
Front-to-rear rotation following manufacturer pattern. Recommended every 5,000 miles for most vehicles, every 6,250 miles for Tesla, sooner for AWD and EVs with aggressive driving.
Computer Balancing
Precision wheel balancing on every install and rotation. Eliminates highway-speed vibration and prevents the cupped wear pattern that ruins new tires early.
TPMS Service
Sensor reset, programming, and replacement. We handle direct and indirect TPMS systems and reset Tesla and OEM systems back to spec after install.
Flat Repair
Proper plug-and-patch repair from inside the tire — never an outside-only plug. We inspect the casing first to confirm the tire is safe to repair.
EV & Tesla Tire Service
Battery weight and instant torque wear EV tires faster. We rotate on a tighter cadence, watch for inner-edge wear specific to Model 3/Y, and recommend EV-rated replacements.
Our Process
Tire Inspection
We measure tread depth at multiple points, check sidewalls for damage, read the date code, and inspect for uneven wear that points to alignment or suspension issues.
Honest Recommendation
We tell you exactly how many miles you have left. If a rotation will buy you another season, that's what we recommend — not four new tires.
Mount & Balance
New tires are mounted with proper bead lubrication, balanced on a computer balancer, and torqued to manufacturer spec. TPMS sensors are reset before the vehicle leaves the lift.
Alignment Check & Road Test
We check alignment on every new tire install — bad alignment ruins new tires in months. Then a road test to confirm no vibration, no pull, and TPMS is reading correctly.

Why Choose Hahn Automotive for Tires?
No Sales Quotas
National tire chains push tires on monthly quotas. We don't. We tell you the truth about your tread, every time.
EV-Ready Shop
Tesla and EV tires are not interchangeable with gas-car tires. We know the load ratings, the foam-lined options, and the rotation schedules that keep them lasting.
Done Right the First Time
Proper mounting, real road-force balancing, correct torque sequence, and an alignment check. The basics, executed every time.
One Trusted Shop
Get tires, alignment, brakes, and suspension at one shop that already knows your vehicle. No bouncing between a tire chain and a repair shop.
